As the seasons change, so do the needs of our eyes. Here are some tips for caring for your eyes through every season change.

Winter

With the winter cold you're bound to be inside more often. Don't forget there is not as much sunlight so make sure your rooms are well lit to prevent eyestrain. Also, dry eye is more prevalent in the colder months. Be sure to keep your home humidified.

Spring

Seasonal allergies hit hard when all the flowers bloom. Take care of your eyes by avoiding going outside on windy days when the pollen will be at it's worst.

Summer

The heat can make you want to jump into the water as fast as you can, but make sure you remove your contacts before dipping in. You'll reduce your risk of an eye infection.

Fall

Although it may be getting colder the sun is still out in full force. Wear sunglasses that block both UVA and UVB rays.
