During my first year as a business owner, my priority was to update our equipment to ensure we would be able to offer our patients the best, most comprehensive eye care. All profit was immediately dumped into the newest technology available, and in six months we accumulated an arsenal of ophthalmological-grade ocular machines.

Now, I am able to explain anatomy, disease, abnormalities and interesting physical quirks to a patient using images of their very own eyes. I can map the entire ocular surface of contact lens patients to make sure they receive the most comfortable lenses possible. My patients seem to appreciate the personalized care and the ability to see what I see. This has been fun for me and I hope you’ve all had the chance to see your eye care in action.

My next goal was to update the office and it is finally finished…for the most part. We replaced the wood paneling with clean white walls and updated the floors with a nice wood. We brought in new furniture and fixtures for everything from the waiting room to the bathroom. It’s minimalistic, streamlined and comfortable.

Our optical found many independent eyewear lines to bring in, because we’re a small business and we want to support other small businesses. (Dana will be sharing thorough reviews of these amazing companies in the coming months). The optical now features white quartz tables, which allows our patrons to see eyeglass frames in detail. We have over 450 frames in every shape, size and color you can imagine.

We’re very proud of our new office and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
